In addition to writing, Brandi worked in the nonprofit and higher education setting for over 20 years. Over the course of her career, she has developed and presented trainings, workshops, and conference presentations on a variety of topics, including youth volunteerism and civic engagement, higher education, working with students with disabilities and learning differences, creative writing, and more.

Brandi was a featured speaker at the 2022 Ancient Faith Women’s Retreat, during which she spoke on “Cultivating Devotion to the Theotokos,” and she is excited to be the featured speaker at the St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church “Clean Monday” Retreat in Greenwood Village, Colorado in 2024.
